U.P. Firearms Training offers CPL classes through Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners (MCRGO), a non-profit, non-partisan organization. Classes typically last around 8 hours. The class consists of 5 hours of classroom instruction covering ammunition knowledge, the fundamentals of pistol shooting, pistol shooting positions, firearms law, avoiding a criminal attack, and controlling a violent confrontation. The class also includes at least 3 hours of instruction on a shooting range.
